Postal trade unions allege that problems have arisen in carrying out customer services due to a technical fault in the computer system of the postal department. Convener of the joint postal trade union alliance Chinthaka Bandara said that officials are yet to rectify this problem which they have been experiencing for several days. Our attempts to obtain a comment from the subject minister and the postmaster general in this regard were proved futile.
