Mumbai recorded the highest single-day record of 20,181 new Covid cases and four death on Thursday. The active cases stand at 79,260. Mumbai’s positivity rate was recorded to be 29.9 per cent today. As per Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), a total of 67,000 test samples were collected on Thursday.
Maharashtra recorded a total of 36,265 covid 19 cases and 13 deaths on Thursday. While 8,907 people were discharged from the hospitals. The state reported 79 new omicron cases on Thursday taking the total tally to 876 cases.
