Pharmacies to remain open during curfew

The Health Ministry had instructed the police department to take actions to remain all pharmacies open during the police curfew considering it as an essential service. The Ministry also instructed the police to consider the patients’ prescription as a curfew pass for the person to visit the pharmacies. This decision was taken considering those who use to take their medicines from pharmacies on regular basis and not to make them inconvenient. The Ministry further advised the police to grant permission for the vehicles to transport medicine and the employees who work at pharmacies to engage in their duties.
