The Sri Lankan Olympians successfully attended ‘Wana Ropa’ 2019 which is an island wide program to increase the forest cover by 32% 14 Olympians who brought credit to the country attended the memorial tree planting program held at the Welagedara Central college in Kurunegala. A total of 67 plants were planted around the school grounds with the names of the 67 Olympians who has represented the mother nation. After the tree planting program a motivational program was conducted by the Olympians who were present.
