#2 – Shane Watson (AUS – 5 times in 24 matches)
The burly all-rounder has had an illustrious career in white-ball cricket. He took to T20 cricket so well right from the start of his career.
For Australia, he has done phenomenally well in the T20 World Cups. That he has won 5 Man of the Match awards is a testament to his contributions.
#1 – Virat Kohli (IND – 5 times in 16 matches)
4 players out of 5 in this list have won the award same number of times, but it’s the Indian skipper who has done it in the least number of matches.
Kohli needs no introduction anyway, but his records in the T20 World Cups are just unheard of! Can he add to this tally and be a clear frontrunner? We shall wait and see.
