Two Sri Lankans arrived from Italy admitted to IDH

Two Sri Lankans who arrived from coronavirus hit Italy had been admitted to the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) in Angoda with signs of fever and coughing, hospital sources said.

One of them had been transferred from the Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital and the other from the Ragama Teaching Hospital.

Sources said the medical reports of the two patients directed to the Medical Research Institute are still pending.

It is yet to be confirmed whether they were infected with the Coronavirus.

Moreover, Coronavirus cases of 650 have so far been reported from Italy with 17 deaths.
