Chamari Atapattu, Captain of the Sri Lanka T20I squad, scored her maiden T20I century in the Sri Lanka Women’s 1st T20I against the Austrailia Women’s team, played in Sydney.
The three-match T20 series between Australia and Sri Lanka started on Sunday, (29).
The Australian team has been a consistent performer across formats. They recently whitewashed West Indies Women’s team in their back yard. With the World cup just a few months away they would love to get as much game time and Fine-tune their plans and skills.
Sri Lankan Women’s team, on the other hand, has come to the Australian shore with very fewer expectations against this experienced Australian Women’s team.
