Greys team donated Rs. 480,000. More donations to Covid fund from National Cricketers

Sri Lanka Cricketer Dasun Shanaka, who won the Man of the series at the SLC Invitational T20 League, has decided to donate his prize money of Rs.200,000 to the Critical Care unit for COVID – 19 patients at the Kalubowila Hospital.

Meanwhile, the Manager of the Greys team  Mr.Charith Senanayake told us that at the request of the team Captain, it was decided to donate another Rs. 280,000 from the Greys team. Accordingly, the total amount donated by the Greys team to the Covid Fund is
Rs. 480,000.00.

It is learned that the runners-up of the tournament Reds team have also decided to donate Rs. 200,000.00 for the fund.

‘’We are donating more money which will be collected from the national team’’ Dasun Shanaka, the captain of the Grace team, further told us.
