The ‘UNV 50 Country Awards’ ceremony organized in-line with the Golden Jubilee
celebrations of the United Nations Volunteers, was held yesterday (7), under the patronage
of Minister of Youth & Sports Namal Rajapaksa.
At the ceremony, the Lifetime Achievement Golden Award was conferred on Dr. A T
Ariyaratne and the Volunteering Excellence Awards were presented to Roshan Mahanama
and Kushil Gunasekera.
